These Terms & Conditions may be updated or changed at any time and without notice

Orders

1) Concert Notes / CD-DVD Liners

  1. The company rates are based on the time taken to research the background of a work, create a listening plan and devising personalised presentations with or without images. The rate card will be updated regularly and will appear in the Concert Notes section.

  2. The company will accept orders from this website or email for orchestral, choral, ensemble, musical, film and solo works by any composer.

  3. The company will require the title, composer, arranger if applicable, opus or catalogue number to ensure the correct work is prepared.

  4. Quotes will be issued by email and confirmed before any work begins.

  5. Draft copies will be delivered via email in PDF format.

  6. Amendments will be adjusted by AMS until final copies are agreed.

  7. Invoices will be sent via email on completion of the order.

2) Sheet music

  1. The company is currently supplied by all major publishers in Wales, the UK, Europe and USA

  2. The company policy is that orders will be a minimum of 3 copies.

  3. A 24 hour service will be available via this website, email or fax. Telephone orders can be made daily between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m GMT

  4. A telephone answering service is also available if staff are busy.

  5. Prices will be available on request until further notice.

  6. AMS currently has 15,000 songs archived and will provide a returnable 14 day free inspection service of these copies.


3) Instrumental music

  1. Orders will be accepted from this website, email or fax. Telephone orders can be made daily between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m GMT.

  2. Products will be sold as a pack containing a score and one set of parts.

Payment

  1. All payments will be requested within 21 days of the invoice date.

  2. Invoices will sent with delivery to the contact who placed the order. Duplicate invoices to other persons will not be available.

  3. Credit, Debit Card and bank transfer payments will only be available through the PayPal payment option.PayPal policies will therefore cover transactions via this method and will not be the responsibility of AMS.

  4. For cheque payments clients will be asked to retain and endorse their invoice and send the payment, payable to Active Music Services with the invoice number and their address on the back to: Active Music Services, Heulwen, Hirwaun Road, Hirwaun, Aberdare, CF44 9HW

  5. Receipts for payments will be sent by email only.

  6. Where non-payment or late payments occur further invoices will be issued, after one warning, with a weekly interest of 12% of the outstanding balance. Persistent late payers will be asked to pay in advance for any future orders.

  7. Refunds are not available after the order has been accepted and confirmed. Any exceptional circumstances must be negotiated with AMS within 7 days after delivery.

  8. Discounts will not be available as they are automatically subsumed into the product price based on the company policy not to charge for handling orders, packaging, carriage charges and communications.

Delivery / Postage & Package

  1. The company will charge for postage only and not add packaging costs.

  2. When appropriate AMS will send delivery emails on day orders are dispatched containing invoice number, cost and and payment date.

  3. Small and large packages for the UK and Northern Ireland will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class using the current sliding scale for weight.

  4. Parcels will be sent using current Royal Mail sliding scale for weight.

  5. International delivery will be sent via Royal Mail standard airmail.

  1. The copyright of all concert programme notes, CD / DVD liners and education resources is owned by Active Music Services.

  2. You may not include any content or presentations in any other publication, product or website unless the owner/s of Active Music Services has given written permission or you have negotiated a license contract with the company to do so.

3) Choral Music Centre

  1. The copyright for all choral music displayed as samples on these websites belong either to AMS or the work’s composer, arranger, lyricist, their family, trusts or publisher.

  2. AMS will not condone the photocopying or any method of reproduction of the material displayed or sent out for inspection.

  3. Any infringement of copyright or reproduction of any samples, inspection or product copies will be investigated, reported and may lead to prosecution.

4)Instrumental Music

  1. The copyright for all original compositions and arrangements for recorders, flutes, handbells and keyboards belongs to AMS.

  2. You may not include any content or presentations in any other publication, product or website unless the owner/s of Active Music Services has given written permission or you have negotiated a license contract with the company to do so.
